Between December 2011 to January 2014 I worked with Universal Music in London on their artist websites and a new classical music portal called Sinfini Music.
We worked with the Universal Music team in Japan to build localised version of our websites using Umbraco.
East West Relations was a boutique advisory firm providing a tailored service to media companies considering investment in emerging markets.
I designed and built a mobile-first, responsive site for the company in 2011 which included company information and contact details.
Island Artisans was a multimedia documentary webseries launched in 2010.
I designed and built a website showcasing the photo and video galleries of some of the best local businesses on the Isle of Wight.
Better Brief was a London web agency that created easy-to-use websites.
I worked with the agency on several occasions to develop the front-end of new websites they were working on.
Gift Envy was a London-based boutique gift company. I worked with them in 2010 to develop a Magento-powered ecommerce store.
A custom Magento theme was developed for the site, allowing the company to add products and manage almost every aspect of the site with minimal developer input whilst retaining a custom look and feel.
Chalet Basile was a self catering chalet business situated at 1175m above the lovely market and spa town of St. Gervais-les-Bains, between Chamonix and Megeve.
I designed and built the chalet’s website in 2010 which included a version localised in French. It included a custom location map and booking form, as well as photo gallery.
In 2010 I developed a website around the geoenvironment of Toktogul, a project funded by NATO.
This was a simple brochure site explaining the project behind the geo-environmental security of the Toktogul hydroelectric power station region in central Asia. It contained project details and contact information for people involved in the project.
1Agenda was a tailored personal introductions service based in London.
In 2009 I developed a simple brochure website for the company that explained their offerings and provided easy contact for potential clients.
During my time at BBC Worldwide I worked for a year with the BBC Public Service’s Domestic Homepage team developing the 2009 BBC.co.uk homepage. This utilised a modular custom-homepage-like layout with drag-and-drop functionality that allowed users to save their layout. I learned a lot about performance and building for high-traffic large scale websites during this time.
In 2009 I developed and maintained the Saturday Club website, a community and information site for a charity supporting deaf children living on the Isle of Wight.
The site was developed using Drupal and includes a forum and online games section for the children among other features.
